National Association for Prevention of Teacher Abuse

NAPTA

Thousands of teachers in thousands of public school districts across the United States are abused. They are abused by administrators, local school boards, state boards of education, and their unions. The NAPTA web site documents this mistreatment with the hope of stopping and preventing this abuse in the future.NAPTA is a storehouse of information to help the public discover the truth about our schools and counteract the false information that intentionally misleads the audience away from reform. It is not meant to be a proposal for reform per se, but an opportunity to clear the way so reform can begin. It is an on-going collection of articles and teacher testimony/history that show the truth about our education system.

This web site and blog was created to provide a platform for teachers and others to discuss the important issues presented on the NAPTA website and in President Karen Horwitz’s book White Chalk Crime.

Accordingly, there are two main categories in which to post: White Chalk Crime and Teacher Abuse. Please post all other topics as uncategorized. If strong trends appear in the latter, other categories will be created.

When you register to participate, you will be assigned the role of: “contributor” which will permit you to post upon approval. If your posts demonstrate on-topic themes, you status may be upgraded. No offensive posts will be published.
