Does anyone feel stifled about speaking out because so much has happened, so many lies have been told&written, so much shuffling of administration and various kinds of abuse - that even your documentation has documentation - that you\'re so overwhelmed and drained you don\'t even know where to begin? ... and don\'t even get me started on lawyers.

Thanks for pointing out the fraud in Illinois. As more and more people speak about White Chalk Crime the powers that be will have to deal with it!

The Illinois Teacher Retirment System and some school districts would not allow their teachers to contribute to withhhold wages to the TRS from summer employment, thus requiring the certified teacher to withhold FICA instead of TRS. The teachers are being denied retirment benefite from wages earned as teachers and also being penalized on their SS benefits by WEP. This is illegal and violates the SS guidelines of Section 218, ie a violation of a persons constitutional rights. If you do not believe me...call Illinois TRS and ask if they ever required or allowed teachers to acquire SS credits from teacher employment? Illiois is the only state that allowed/required their teachers to acquire SS credits under the table. Even the State Social Security Section of SERS will not report the violatons of SS guidelines to the IRS.

Thank you for this. More educators, like yourself, are helping make a difference. As a parent of an exceptional child, we first handed suffered mental and physical abuse at the hands of district administrators. Our asthmatic son was \'sat on\' face down on the floor by two adults as a punishment for \"non compliance\" almost on a daily basis. Finally, he came home with bruises and the story unraveled before our eyes. While totally illegal, there was really nothing we could do but file for Due Process and watch it all be skillfully swept under the rug. He is now home-schooled via a Cyber Charter school. It\'s far from our first choice - it has been our only choice. Keep up the great advocacy!

I just received my copy of White Chalk Crime. It\'s a beautiful book, easy to get into, and well organized. I like the chapter headings, such as \"Polarization is Fundamental to White Chalk Crime.\" I can\'t wait to read it.
